The Whaley House

The Whaley House is located in San Diego and is remembered because of its unfortunate and scary history. Violet Whaley who used to live in the house committed suicide because of strange reasons. He jumped from the second floor and died at the spot. Yankee Jim Robinson also committed suicide by hanging himself.  Whenever people visit Whaley House, they report hearing of strange sounds and seeing unexpected movements in the house.

In the list of most haunted cities in the U.S, Savannah lies somewhere top in the list. This place was built in 1829. This was solitary confinement where prisoners were kept in the worst conditions and were tortured brutally.  Prisoner’s tongue was chained to their hand as a punishment. Many prisoners died because of the pain they used to went through. Visitors come to Eastern State Penitentiary and witness strange things. Things like shadows of human, evil laughter and sounds of footsteps are very normal things to encounter at  Eastern State Penitentiary.
