BTS’s Jungkook forwarded to prosecution, for what?
Jungkook, a member of the most famous boy band BTS. He has the most fans among his band members. His pretty face and smoky voice just take away anyone’s heart, and his dance moves are what you can call perfection. But despite being this famous, Jungkook still got arrested for (accidentally) crashing his car (BMW) with a Taxi while driving through Hannam in the Yongsan District of Seoul.
The accident took place at 4 AM on 31st October of this year. When the police arrived at the scene, Jungkook didn’t fight or didn’t use his fame, but humbly accepted his mistake of not obeying the traffic rules and breaking it. Fortunately, nobody was injured except for some bruises here and there. Both Jungkoook and the driver solved their problem after coming to a conclusion. Or was it?
It looks like everyone’s favorite pretty boy still broke a few rules. Even if he has settled things with the driver, Seoul’s Yongsan Police Station still wants to push his case for potential prosecution due to the “serious negligence” on his behalf.
According to BTS’ management company, Big Hit Entertainment, “Jungkook admitted he violated the traffic signals violation laws.” At the time of the incident, “He followed the legally required procedures at the scene and answered to police who arrived at the scene. Afterward, he reached an agreement of compromisation with the victim.”
“Police summoned and carried out an interrogation of Jungkook on Nov. 28. He and the victim smoothly settled the case, but the police asked for a legal indictment of him because of the serious negligence involved in the accident,” said the police report, according to Yonhap News Agency.
