Celebrities during these troubled times are not only sharing inspiration and smiles, but many have also even reached deep into their pockets to share some of their riches in order to support those in need. Coronavirus is a deadly virus and in order to fight it, all humanity should donate to help those who are affected by it.
1) Ariana Grande
While some celebrities are making the headlines for major lump sum donations, Ariana Grande also held it down by giving it quietly directly to fans who shared trouble with social media finances. On Thursday (March 26), TMZ announced that Grande had been in direct contact with many fans and it is reported that in at least ten occasions she had sent donations ranging from US$ 500 to US$ 1,500.
2) Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift Swift donated $3,000 (about £ 2.500) each to two fans who had worried about their financial pressures, according to People magazine. This gesture of Swift has been highly appreciated by her fans and reflects her big heart.
3) Angelina Jolie
Star-humanitarian Angelina Jolie from Hollywood and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner contributed $1 million each to support relief efforts in the aftermath of the coronavirus. Angelina Jolie is donating to “No Kid Hungry” campaign too to prevent underprivileged children from starving during the COVID-19 outbreak, She also made a donation to hospitals in the LA region to purchase the requisite equipment.
4) Cristiano Ronaldo
Reportedly, soccer stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have donated a combined $2.16 million to help combat coronavirus in their cities. Ronaldo and his partner Jorge Mendes contributed $1.08 million to three intensive care units in Lisbon and Porto hospitals for patients undergoing coronavirus treatment.
5) Rodger Federer
Tennis star Rodger Federer has vowed to donate more than $1 million to help the deserving families in his native Switzerland who have been affected by the novel coronavirus. He posted on Instagram that we need to help families in need quickly and unbureaucratically, He told me that he and his wife Mirka contributed to Switzerland’s newly established emergency assistance fund for families.
