Google adds a new feature for improving security

Data breaching has become common and the chances of your data being compromised are increasing every single day.  On the other hand tech companies are also adopting various techniques to tackle this issue.

Google, the famous tech company has added a new feature to its famous product, chrome. This new feature is for the 86 version of chrome and its ultimate goal is to inform the user before he or she provides his personal information to an insecure website. Already there is a chrome feature that gives you a warning whether a page is secure or insecure. But this message used to get ignored by most users.  If you are using Chrome currently, have a look on the left side of URL pasting space and you will see a lock symbol.

Google’s Safe Browsing technology examines billions of URLs per day looking for unsafe websites. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Every day, we discover thousands of new unsafe sites, many of which are legitimate websites that have been compromised. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ When we detect unsafe sites, we show warnings on Google Search and in web browsers. You can search to see whether a website is currently dangerous to visit…💁‍♂️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #staysafe #website #search #linksearch #security #linksafe #googleupdates #googleindia #googlecloudplatform #googlesecurity #safebrowsing #like4likes #likethispic #likelike #follwme #pune #puneblogger #nagpur #mumbai #banglore #indiafightscorona #stayhome

This symbol is a sign that the website you are working on where you are providing and entering your information, can’t be spied by any third party. From October, Chrome will be warning users not once but twice whenever they try to submit a mixed form. An initial warning will be when the user tries to reach up to a text box and tries to fill it. The second warning will confirm the user about the disability of autofill which will be a hint that the website he is on is not secure.

Chrome 86 will be released in October 2020 and we hope that Chrome 86 will be more safe and secure as compared to the previous versions of Chrome.
