PewDiePie: No more YouTube for 2020

PewDiePie (aka Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg), the most subscribed YouTuber of 2013 – 2019, until Bollywood record label “T-Series” took it’s placed late this year. The 29-year old Swedish star started his channel in 2006 as a gamer and used to post gaming videos. But later he finds out that his commentary while playing games makes user happy and was giving him a positive response. But Little bit did he know, in just a few years he became the social media sensation.

He uses to upload on a regular basis (unlike other smaller YouTubers). But everyone has to take rest somewhere in their journey so it looks like, his time has come.

PewDiePie has just recently announced his ‘Break’ from Youtube in early 2020. “I’m taking a break from YouTube next year. I wanted to say it in advance because I made up my mind. I’m tired. I’m feeling very tired. I don’t know if you can tell,” PewDiePie said, laughing. Not explaining the complete reason for now. “I would like to do something else other than making videos that I’m doing from more than 10+ years, he added.

It’s maybe because of his actions in recent years like multiple racist outbursts, his bad jokes on Demi Lovato’s hospitalization after a big drug dose e.t.c which caused him a lot of problems, or maybe it’s because of the new YouTube’s harassment policy.

By the way, PewDiePie has enough subscribers (102 million) that he can afford a break. Otherwise many small YouTubers can’t afford one.
