Android: The most amazing feature to be released soon
Ever heard of floating bubble notification? Well, it’s a new feature, on which Android had been working on for quite some time now. But to use the feature, there have been no apps except the only option which is available within the developer menu. The news was uncovered by XDA that Google has successfully been able to enable the bubble functionality in the Messages app, after a long time of experimenting.
The feature in the app works almost as the Facebook Chat heads. If Google enables then you will be able to view the entire conversation in addition to replying.
When this feature was first released in Android 10 beta 2, there were bugs and it was very frustrating to use it. At that time, this feature was nothing but another way of viewing notifications, giving no additional functionality from the notification shade.
However, when the feature was updated, it becomes clear that there was some high degree of functionalities but wasn’t able to use it because of bugs.
“We hope that developers will use our given built-in bubbles API rather than any self-made solutions,” Google stated.
This would bring a higher degree of cohesiveness to Android and will reduce development time for app developers who wish to implement such an interface.
Well, this is just some information Google gave. Their’s no guess when will this new feature get a release in the official capacity. Developers have been encouraged by Google to implement the new API, so we’d theorize that the feature is being prepared for an official Android 11 update.
XDA hasn’t shared that method with the help of which they test this functionality, but it probably demands to modify the APK, which means it’s unlike for you to use it. So, unless you are a professional developer, don’t expect to play with it anytime soon.
How do you feel about this new upcoming feature? Is it just a copy of Facebook Chat head or will there be something unique to see? Please share your beliefs in the given section below.
