Tom Cruise in action with the new ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ trailer
Did you ever expect any old movie star to perform a sequel of that old hit movie? Well, If you are a classic fan then let me tell you that ‘Tom Cruise’ just uploaded his trailer of “Top Gun: Maverick” on Monday morning, which is the sequel of 1986’s “Maverick”, which did become a huge success. It was a movie where he played the role of a patriot pilot as ‘Pete’.
The trailer is 2-minutes-20-seconds long with a simple caption, “See you in the sky” on his twitter.
A narrator says, “His exploits are legendary. What he has to teach you may very well mean the difference between life and death.”
In this movie, Cruise seems to be working as a test pilot and training a fresh group of Top Gun Graduates. He also meets with his late friend Goose’s son ‘Bradley Rooster Bradshaw’ (Miles Teller).
The poster was released on Sunday.
He has also been seen riding a motorcycle without a helmet, which may have been cool in 1986 but is irresponsible in 2020.
The movie is directed by ‘Joseph Kosinski’, which also starers Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Ed Harris, and Jon Hamm. The movie will hit the big screens on June 26, 2020.
“Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it,” the synopsis reads.
