The major reason which has lead the Indian government to ban these apps was the death of 20 Indian soldiers who died because of the clashes between Indian and Chinese army at ‘Line of Actual Control’. The area is called “Ladakh” were Indian and Chinese soldiers were having the clashes. The Chinese government claims that the Indian army is trying to build a road at the shared border which the Chinese won’t allow at any cost. Slowly and gradually the two armed forces came face to face and as a result, the Indian army lost 20 of its soldiers. Both the Indian government and the public were aggravated on this loss. Eventually, the Indian government decided to boycott all Chinese goods and services. So banning these 59 apps is a sign of protest the Indian government and public is displaying.  No doubt India was a huge market for all these apps and loosing such a big market will affect the economy of the companies of these apps.
